Sinopsis del libro

This is the Spanish translation of the book Lightning Fish, also available on Google Play. The translation was provided by students in an ESL class who were not being challenged with their current curriculum. I know their teacher, so we asked if they would like to work on a group project, using technology (computers, shared drives, email, etc) and their multi-lingual skills to provide this book in another language so other kids would be able to read it. They loved the idea, and it not only helped them gain important tech skills, but value the multi-lingual skills they had as something important, and not as a stigma. In return I donated more tech to the class and some treats to the kids who participated in the project! This is a great book about responsibility, about feeling important, and dealing with others coming into that worldview and challenging perceptions and where one views ones place in the world.
